In a thread on twoplustwo.com poker forums, PPA representative Rich “The Engineer” Muny stated that the PPA has formally request that FullTilt Poker provide them with a timeline detailing the return of poker player’s funds following FTP’s decision to stop serving the US market.
According to the US Department of Justice, FTP has entered into a deal with the DOJ that would allow FTP to return funds to US players. FTP has since released a statement indicating that “As a result of the recent enforcement action, there exists no authorized U.S. payment channel through which to make refunds” and that “millions of dollars of player funds … were seized”.
However a subsequent release by FTP clarified that the seizure did not involve individual player accounts.
In a thread titled, “New DoJ action means return of US funds happening soon most likely”, Muny wrote:
I asked PPA to seek a formal statement on this matter from FTP. PPA has requested information from people associated with Full Tilt about their timeline for return of player funds. I’ll post info as I receive it.
While PokerStars has already begun processing cash outs to US Players, FTP has had very little communication with its players.
