The Premiere Week of the World Series of Poker (WSOP) Online 2021 is now complete. A total of eight domestic bracelets were handed to players on WSOP New Jersey and WSOP Nevada during this open period.
There have been almost 7000 entries recorded in these first eight events, putting the average entries at around 864. More than $4.6 million in prizes has been collected already on $6,765 in total buy-ins ($780 average buy-in).
The festival is organized into themes, with the first eight events comprising the Premiere Week theme. Micro Madness has since been running over the weekend, with the cheapest shot at a bracelet through the whole festival (not counting the generous satellite tree).
Micro Madness represented three days of low-stakes action with Gold Bracelets on the line. There were two $400 events and one for just $333, the three lowest-priced games on the whole schedule.

The Series So Far in Detail
With more than $4.6 million collected and nearly 7000 entries in total to the end of Premiere Week, the overall picture for the series looks decent so far. As the series went on, however, the total entries and prize pool value dropped through the first six games.
While the opening game posted solid numbers with almost $1,150 in prizes for every dollar of buy-in (prizes/buy-in), entries and prizes/buy-in dropped consistently after that through the sixth event which bottomed out at $384.80 prizes/buy-in.
The seventh and eighth events rebounded however, with a stronger turnout and higher prizes/buy-in. Event #7: Lucky 7’s posted an unlikely 888 total entries for exactly $800.00 prizes/buy-in.

An upcoming MEGA Satellite to Event #10 has 10 seats guaranteed for just $10. That game runs July 9 at 18:30, and may well be the best chance at a cheap bracelet in the entire month. There are also ALL-IN Satellites running through the day for players who like to flip their way through satellites.
Phase One of Four
The WSOP 2021 Online is just the first phase of four total parts to the WSOP in 2021. The US domestic side is just the first half of the online component, with the international half running on GGPoker in August.
When that international leg winds down at the end of August, players will have a couple weeks of rest before the action gets underway live once again in Las Vegas. There are 88 bracelets to be won live in Vegas, but even that is not the end of it.
When the action winds down in Vegas it will already be heating up in Europe. The fourth and final phase of WSOP action this year will be 15 more bracelets handed out at King’s Casino in Rozvadov, Czech Republic.
