Online poker giant GGPoker has unveiled the full details of the famous Road to Vegas campaign that commits to sending hundreds of players to play the 2023 WSOP Main Event.
This year, the operator has gone all-in with giving away packages: At least 500 seats will be won on the GGPoker app and another 100 via the operator’s subscription-based social poker app ClubGG — more than the double official qualifiers from the 2022 series.
This comes as part of the organizers’ plan to set a new all-time attendance record for the Main Event.

Road to Las Vegas: Key Points
- GGPoker is sending hundreds of players to the 2023 WSOP Main Event.
- Each WSOP 2023 Main Event package is valued at $12,000.
- GGPoker is offering a $1 million bonus to the winner of the 2023 WSOP Main Event if they win their way through GGPoker.

- The 54th Annual World Series of Poker will take place from May 30 to July 18.
$1 Million Bonus if GG Qualifier Wins the Main
But one offer that stands out is that any player who qualifies through GGPoker and ends up winning the Main Event will get an extra prize — a $1,000,000 million bonus on top of the first-place prize.
Should the Main Event keep its $10 million top-prize payout and a GGPoker qualifier ends up winning it, the winner will take home $11 million — which would make it one of the largest cash prizes ever won at the WSOP Main Event, or indeed any live poker tournament.
The promotion is reminiscent of 888poker’s similar offer, dubbed Supersize ME, which the operator ran back in 2016 and 2017 when 888 was the official partner of the WSOP. 888 offered a $5 million bonus on top of the cash prize. However, none of the 888 qualifiers went on to win the Main Event; the bonus was left unclaimed.
The odds of a GG qualifier actually winning the Main Event is not that as low as you might think. In 2022, GGPoker qualified 129 players via its Road to Vegas campaign and another 49 players through ClubGG. Espen Jorstad, one of those 129 players that qualified via GGPoker, bested the 8663 field to win the Main and a life-changing $10 million in prize money.
Had GG offered the same bonus last year, Jorstad would have won an additional $1 million. With the operator promising to double its qualifiers this year, a repeat of 2022 is certainly within the realms of possibility.
“For many, competing in the WSOP Main Event is the ultimate poker dream,” said Sarne Lightman, Managing Director of GGPoker. “As the exclusive WSOP international satellite provider, GGPoker is thrilled to be able to fulfill this dream for at least 600 of our players. We’ll also throw in an extra $1M bonus should any GGPoker qualifier go on to win the Main Event!”
Qualifiers to $10K Main Start From Just $1
The qualifiers are already listed in the GGPoker client and players can select their preferred route to winning a $12,000 package for Las Vegas. These start at just $1 with sub-satellites ranging from $15 to $140.
On March 19, the operator will be running seven direct satellites, with buy-ins starting at $600. Each satellite guarantees two packages while the $1175 buy-in, promises 20 packages worth $240,000 in prize money.
The operator will also be running freerolls to the qualifiers, giving players a chance to win the coveted seat for no investment.
The 54th Annual World Series of Poker return to the Las Vegas Strip at the Horseshoe Las Vegas & Paris Las Vegas from May 30 to July 18. The $10K buy-in WSOP Main Event begins on Monday, July 3, part of a bustling WSOP 2023 schedule promising to be the biggest in its history.
