- PokerStars’ Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP) Millions will feature the largest guarantee prize pool in Latin American history, at R$40 million.

- It caters to players of all bankroll sizes, offering buy-ins ranging from R$500 ($100) to R$50,000 ($10,165).
- It runs concurrently with the Latin America Poker Tour (LAPT).
Brazil’s biggest live poker festival, the Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP) Millions, will return for its sixth and final stop this year in São Paulo.
PokerStars, which has been the sponsor of the tour for more than a decade, has confirmed that the BSOP Millions will boast the largest guarantee prize pool in live poker ever seen in Latin America.
Scheduled to run from November 15 through November 29 at the WTC Sheraton Golden Hall in Brazil’s biggest city, exactly 100 tournaments are scheduled over its 15-day run, guaranteeing R$40 million in prizes (USD $8.2 million).
It is a remarkable leap in guarantees, doubling last year’s R$20 million in prize money spread across 78 events.
What’s even more remarkable is that this achievement is poised to outshine the R$35 million guarantee that GGPoker, in partnership with KSOP, pledged for their upcoming series in January 2024 as part of the Rio de Janeiro stop.
“An event of the scale of BSOP Millions shouldn’t be limited to one type of player. It’s for everyone,” said Devanir Campos, CEO of BSOP in a press release. “This will be the largest guaranteed prize pool of any stage in Latin American history, offering options for all preferences and budgets.”
