- iPoker network is also joining this initiative, launching their own satellite campaign across nearly 20 skins on the Playtech poker network.
- The collaboration is aiming to make the 2024 Irish Poker Open one of the most accessible events to date.
- The IPO is the second-longest-running poker tour in the world and the oldest in Europe, with a history of over 43 years.
For the second consecutive year, Flutter’s PokerStars and Paddy Power brands are hosting online satellites for the upcoming Irish Poker Open (IPO) tour scheduled to make its return in March 2024.
The participation of PokerStars and Paddy Power was expected, given their official co-sponsorship of the IPO tour and their previous involvement in running satellites last year.
However, this time marks a notable expansion as the entire iPoker network, alongside the two Flutter brands, has joined forces to endorse the event, launching their own satellite campaign across nearly 20 skins on the Playtech poker network.
“The addition of iPoker’s satellite schedule means that players from across Europe and beyond now have even more chances to qualify for the 2024 Main Event for just a few euros,” the press release by Irish Poker Open stated. “This collaboration with PokerStars, Paddy Power, and iPoker promises to make the 2024 Irish Poker Open one of the most exciting and accessible events to date.”
