While there are multiple Path to NAPT Steps along the way, you can only buy into Step 1 and Step 2 for cash, while only Step 2 winners can make it into Step 3 and beyond.
With this structure, Path to NAPT makes for a more even playing field by preventing professionals from firing infinite bullets in the later Steps. Instead, they can only play with the Step tickets and Passes they earn by playing the lower Steps.
