BorgataPoker Hosts the Garden State Super Series V Starting This Sunday

The Garden State Super Series V run by BorgataPoker and partypoker begins on Sunday with the total guaranteed prize pool for the series at more than $1.1 million. The series will run through to October 23 with improved payouts and tournament structures.

The $320 buy-in Main Event has a $175,000 guaranteed prize pool. Buy-ins for GSSS V events range from $10 up to $1060.

The GSSS has a mix of No Limit Hold’em events, however, other variants are on offer too. There are seven PLO tournaments (including three PLO8 tournaments), and there are also two stud tournaments during the series.

Major Daily

Everyday there will be two Major Daily tournaments—one pitched at high stakes players and the other at low—so that players of all bankroll sizes will have the opportunity to get in on the action. For instance, on Sunday October 9 there will be a Major Daily with a guaranteed prize pool of $10,000 and one with $20,000. Buy-ins will be $50 and $100 respectively.

However, there will be events with even smaller buy-ins, the cheapest starting at $10. The first of these events will again be on Monday October 10 with the $2,500 GTD NLH (2 x Re-Entry).

For those looking for a less expensive way to play in the GSSS, or if you just want to try to satellite your way in, qualifiers are running for as little as $1 and there are even some qualifiers that you could enter with points.

Bigger Guarantees

There are three stand out events which have some of the biggest guarantees in the tournament—ranging from $75,000 to $175,000. The entry fees for these big money guaranteed tournaments start at $215.
