High-stakes fixed limit player Anthony “TPirahna” Pirone is to be inducted into the PokerStars Hall of Fame, having amassed over 5M Lifetime VPPs from playing on PokerStars for roughly four and a half years.
“It’s one of my biggest accomplishments as a poker player, a reflection of all my hard work and dedication, and something I’m very proud of,” writes the SuperNova Elite Pirone on his blog.
Pirone will be the twenty-second player to be enshrined on the Hall Of Fame website at this level, but the first to do so with primarily fixed limit games. Over the course of his PokerStars career, his stats show that he’s profitable to the tune of $2M over the course of 3 million hands. Over that time, he’s contributed over $1M in rake.
He joins a list of notable recognizable names to reach 5M VPP mark, including Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier, Randy “nanonoko” Lew, Grayson 'spacegravy’ Physioc and more. Next stop would be 10M VPP, where currently online legend George “Jorj95” Lind sits alone.
For achieving the 5m VPP level, players receive a customized TAG Heuer watch, presented at a live PokerStars event. They also get direct support with a PokerStars senior support member via instant messenger, and are enshrined in the hall of fame with pic and bio.
