PartyPoker and the World Poker Tour have recently unveiled a brand new five-stop poker tour, just for the UK. Dubbed the World Poker Tour National Series, the tournaments look to put incorporate a new twist on each of their Main Events, for each stop, by making them “accumulator” tournaments.

WPT National London, the first stop for new PartyPoker sponsored tour, according to PokerNews, is set to take place at Aspers Casino Westfield City from Oct 24-27 and will feature three Day One flights.

That’s where the accumulator twist comes in: Players are allowed to buy-in to each of £180+£20 day 1’s and play in all three. At the end of each day, the chips are bagged, tagged and advanced to Day 2 where all of the chips that a player won are combined to give players their Day 2 starting stack.

While not officially confirmed, the sources over at PokerNews mention that the newly formed tour will find itself stopping in Milton Keynes, Newcastle and Northamption during it’s inaugural season and, as one might expect, satellites for WPT National London, as well as future stops, are to be held on the recently upgraded PartyPoker.com.
