Scottish 21-year old poker player Robbie Bull took down the UKIPT4 London Main Event on Sunday taking home the trophy and the £113,405 first place cash prize.
Bull, whose previous career best was 3rd at the UKIPT3 Bristol Main Event in 2012, defeated Irish Open winner Ian Simpson heads-up for the win after the two had opted to make a deal which guaranteed both of them over £100k and left them playing for £10k.
“It’s a dream [to win] I’ve had for three or four years. When I play a live event in the back of my mind there’s 'I might win it’ but now I feel like I’m dreaming and might wake up and find the UKIPT is next week…” Bull commented in his victory interview with the PokerStars Blog.
With the conclusion of the UKIPT London Main Event, all eyes turn to the European Poker Tour Main Event which kicked off with Day 1a on Sunday.
The UKIPT returns when it travels to the corporate home of PokerStars for UKIPT Isle of Man* on October 30.
