The first event of the 2013 WSOP starts at midday today in the Rio All-Suite Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas. Event 1 is a two day bracelet event, the Casino Employees No Limit Hold’em with a $500 buy in.
The second bracelet event of the day is an 8-handed $5k No Limit Hold’em tournament which stretches over four days. Three deep stacked low buy in events and two Mega Satellites round off the day’s schedule.
The WSOP Main Event will be held from July 6 to July15 with the final table taking place on the 4th and 5th of November.
The new Millionaire Maker tournament will make this first weekend very special. A guaranteed $1m first prize on offer for the winner of the three day $1,500 buy in No Limit Hold’em event. One rebuy is allowed, and there are two starting “Flights”. Players who bust in Flight “A” will be allowed to re-enter the tournament in Flight “B”.
