According to the PartyPoker blog, three more players have been added to the line up for the upcoming PartyPoker Premiere League VII taking place this month at the Playground Poker Club in Montreal.
Defending Premiere League title holder Dan Shak, along with online heads-up specialist Daniel “Jungleman” Cates and 2012 World Series of Poker Main Event Champion Greg Merson have all confirmed their participation in the $125k 12-person televised event.
“I am thrilled to be back to defend my PartyPoker Premier League title in Montreal – I really enjoyed the unique format and the win last time out and it will, undoubtedly, remain a big highlight of my poker career. The chance to repeat is a major thrill for me and I cannot wait.” Shak commented about his return.
The trio join the already stacked cast of Tony G, Antonio Esfandiari, Phil Laak, Jeff Gross, Vanessa Selbst, Jonathan Duhamel and Sam Trickett.
“It is a privilege to be invited to the best super high roller event in the world.” Merson told the blog in what will be his first time in the Premiere League. While returning player Cates said: “The last season of PartyPoker Premier League was certainly eventful for me and it is great to be back for a second time for a crack at the title.”
