The UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT) kicked off this past weekend starting with the Full Tilt Galway Festival.
The festival promises to be the biggest poker festival to ever take place in Europe, with 60 events including a slew of No-Limit Hold’em variations, a few Pot-Limit Omaha and even a Chinese Poker tournament.
The tournaments, as well as cash game action, are being held in the Full Tilt Poker Village at the New Docks in the center of Galway, while results and live updates are being reported on the Full Tilt blog.
The festival is ongoing through August 12, which includes the €1,000,000 guarantee UKIPT Galway Main Event which starts on August 8 as well as the UK vs Ireland Heads-Up Championship which began yesterday and will play down to a winner today.
