The PNIA TV show is set to debut on Sunday, June 29 and will continue for 26 consecutive weeks until December.
In the announcement, PNIA creator and president Todd Anderson said, “We’re making poker fun again – that’s our real goal.”
“Poker Night in America’ will soon become must-see television for all serious players and fans. Our tag-ling says it all “bringing personality back to poker.”
To date, PNIA has been filmed at the Turning Stone Resort in New York, Reno Peppermill, the Rivers Casino in Pittsburgh, and Maryland Live! where 2012 WSOP Main Event champion Greg Merson headlined the action.
Some other big names who have been on the show include Mike “The Mouth” Matusow, Layne Flack, Will “The Thrill” Failla, Dwyte Pilgrin, Matt Glantz, Shaun Deeb, Eli Elezra, Gavin Smith, Phil Laak, and former PokerNews reporter Kristy Arnett.
Casting for a July 26-29 filming session at Maryland Live! is already underway. Prodcers are seeking interesting personalities who have a minimum $20,000 bankroll to utilize while competing on the show.
The show features well-known pros and complete amateurs—focusing on a “reality style” live poker experience combined with table action and interviews.
