According to a teaser trailer uploaded on YouTube on Thursday, a new poker documentary, titled “All In: The Poker Movie,” is currently in production and scheduled for release in February next year.
The upcoming movie, produced by 4th Row Films, will cover the poker boom of the Moneymaker era, through the UB/AP cheating scandals, to the events of Black Friday and beyond.
Similar in scope to “BOOM: The incredible True Story of Online Poker,” also scheduled for release in early 2012, “All In” features interviews with Matt Damon, Scotty Nguyen, Annie Duke, and Howard Lederer, who rather prophetically ends the teaser with: “The hero of the story was also cheating. And that’s just not… the heroes of poker just don’t cheat.”
