With the 2014 World Series of Poker winding down, PokerStars and Full Tilt Poker have begun promoting their next tournament series set to take place over the summer.
The PokerStars MicroMillions, a popular low-buyin tournament series proven successful at attracting big player numbers, is scheduled to take place from July 17 through July 27.
In total, a prize pool of $5,000,000 is guaranteed across 100 events. Buy-ins start from just from 11c. Action culminates with a $20+2 buy-in $1 million guaranteed NLHE Main Event.
The eighth installment of the MicroMillions series could easily exceed its $5 million guarantee if current trends continue.
FTOPS
Full Tilt Poker will begin its 26th Full Tilt Online Poker Series starting August 3 and ending August 17. A total of 31 events are slated during that time, with a $600+35 NLHE Re-Entry Main Event to take place on the final Sunday. $4.5 million is guaranteed in total during the series.
The next MiniFTOPS, its lower buy-in cousin, will piggy-back with a series from September 7 through September 21. It follows a similar schedule, with buyins and guarantees reduced by 90%.
Both MicroMillions and FTOPS will have associated promotions, including Leaderboards to commend successes across multiple events.
