WSOP’s popular Online Circuit is returning to WSOP Nevada and WSOP NJ for its latest installment. The Rio Online Circuit Event takes place between August 20 and 31 and will play out over the course of 12 tournaments.
In total, over $1 million will be handed out in prizes over the course of the series, and each event comes with a highly sought-after WSOP Gold Ring for the winner. In addition to the individual events, there are a number of promos running as part of the online festival, including freeroll tournaments and a series leaderboard.
The highlight of the series is tournament #10, the $250,000 GTD NLH Main Event. The contest has a buy-in of $535 and 3x re-entry options.
Other standouts include Event #3, the $125,000 GTD NLH Monster Stack, and the final event, the $100,000 GTD NLH High Roller 6-Max. There is a decent range of buy-in options, from $215 all the way up to $2000.
In all there are six events with guarantees of $100,000 or more—and seven with buy-ins of $320 or less. However the choice of games on offer is rather limited. Aside from a lone Omaha tournament, all the events are No Limit Hold’em contests.
