Offshore, US-facing Winning Poker Network (WPN) and its flagship skin Americas Cardroom’s (ACR) most fabled tournament, The Venom, will kick off the new year in style with yet another audacious $10 million in guaranteed prize money.
The Venom will tie the record for the largest guarantee ever offered from the network and be the industry’s first eight-figure guaranteed tournament in 2022.
The event is scheduled to run from January 21, featuring four Day 1s spread over ten days. The buy-in remains the same, with each flight costing the usual $2650 to enter. However, this time, the structure will return to the non-progressive knockout (PKO) format.
As seen before, each flight will allow unlimited re-entries, although players will not be able to register for another Day 1 flight, should they qualify for Day 2.
