Club-based poker app Upoker has expanded its offerings with an innovative game called “Scoop Hold’em” that combines Chinese Poker with Texas Hold’em.

Also commonly known as Jackfruit Poker, the game plays quite similarly to Open Face Chinese (OFC) Poker but with a twist — immediately after players are dealt the cards, a three-card community flop is revealed.

Each player is dealt seven cards face down and they must arrange these cards into three rows, with each row consisting of two cards. This means that players must use six out of seven cards and discard one. The three rows must be set into three different hold’em hands and the player’s goal is to make the best possible five-card hold’em style each row.
