partypoker’s Hot Tables cash game feature that injects extra prize money into cash game pots has been rolled out across the partypoker Poker Network in the newly launched Ontario online poker market.
More commonly known as “Cash Drops,” the popular cash game features randomly splashed prizes at cash game tables, allowing players to win extra money in addition to the regular cash pot.
The Cash Drops feature has proven quite popular among recreational players and, today, is spread by multiple online poker rooms. Now-shuttered Run It Once Poker was the first room to implement it as a permanent cash game feature, though the idea of adding money to pots had been around long before that.
It marks the first time the feature has been introduced to the regulated and ring-fenced Ontario province. It is available across all the three skins of the partypoker Ontario Poker Network, which includes partypoker Ontario itself, BetMGM Poker Ontario, and its sister brand bwin.
The new feature went live on April 29 and is slated to run through the end of October, as per the operator’s webpage. It is currently available only on the operator’s fast-fold variant, FastForward, spread in three different stakes: CAD $0.05/$0.10, CAD $0.25/$0.50 and CAD $1/$2.
