If you’re sick of the same old tournament series, then the new microMILLION$ is for you!
GGPoker has announced a new low-stakes tournament series, stylized microMILLION$, that — rather strikingly — copies the name and style of competitor PokerStars’ long-running MicroMillions series.
Slated to start this Sunday, the brand new online festival from GGPoker promises over $5 million in prize money spread out hundreds of tournaments packed into a two-week schedule.
The series is undeniably inspired by PokerStars’ popular low-stakes series, with the same buy-in range, a spread of fun variants, and a very similar Main Event.
It marks GG’s big push towards catering to the smaller budgets of recreational poker players.
“If you’re sick of the same old tournament series, then the new microMILLION$ is for you!” said Sarne Lightman, Global Head of GGPoker in the press release. “We’re aiming to put the fun and excitement back into poker, and with buy-ins from around $1 and over $5 million to be won, microMILLION$ tournaments are for everyone to enjoy.”
