The biggest online poker series in the world, the PokerStars World Championship Of Online Poker aka WCOOP has run for about three weeks now, with numerous events across all three orbits already in the bag.
Millions of dollars have been handed out to hundreds of players who’ve made it to the final table or won WCOOP 2022 events, and there is still much more action to be had.
Most notably, the three Main Events of the series are coming up on Sunday, September 25, featuring a combined $12.5 million in guaranteed prize money.
The three events in question are:
- WCOOP 92-L: $109 Main Event ($2.5 Million Guaranteed)
- WCOOP 92-M: $1,050 Main Event ($4 Million Guaranteed)
- WCOOP 92-H: $10,300 Main Event ($6 Million Guaranteed)
- Deposit $20 and get $30 worth of free play
- One of the best mobile apps
- Biggest MTT guarantees
The prize pools certainly look appetizing, but the buy-ins for the three are not negligible, either, especially when we look at the medium and high orbits.
Fortunately, there are plenty of ways to get into the WCOOP Main Event without breaking the bank. We explore all the satellite options available to players still looking to secure their seats in the upcoming PokerStars WCOOP Main Event 2022.
$10,300 Main Event — High Orbit Satellites
The $10,300 Main Event is the ultimate event of the WCOOP and is dubbed the World Championship of NLHE. It may be the most prestigious online poker event of the year.
The event is one that most players would love to have a chance at playing, but the $10,300 buy-in makes it somewhat challenging.
Perhaps the most convenient way to get into the $10,300 Main Event is by pursuing the “WCOOP Fast Track,” a series of satellite tournaments designed to give everyone a fighting chance.
The Fast Track consists of four different buy-in levels, which allow players to jump in at their comfort zone and build their way up:
- WCOOP Fast Track Rd 1 /4: $1.50 SNG (On Demand): 1 Seat to Rd 2/4 Guaranteed
- WCOOP Fast Track Rd 2/4: $20 Scheduled: 3 — 5 Seats to Rd 3 /4 Guaranteed
- WCOOP Fast Track Rd 3 /4: $109 Scheduled: 2 — 5 Seats to Rd 4/4 Guaranteed
- WCOOP Fast Track Rd 4/4: $1,050 Scheduled: 1 — 3 Seats to Main Event Guaranteed
You can choose to join any of the four Fast Track levels and try to build your way up to the $10,300 ticket. Direct entry into Rd 4/4 is also available, allowing those who might already be willing to buy into the Main Event as it is a chance to get in a little cheaper by beating the competition in these preliminary events.
Fast Track satellites are running daily, but they are not the only way to get into the Main Event. The daily $55, $215, and $530 Mega Satellites are all available each day, awarding anywhere between 1 and 18 Main Event seats, guaranteed.
Players will have a chance to join a variety of Mega Satellites on the day of the event, September 25, and on September 26 for one last shot at jumping into the action with the max-late registration.
Finally, $10,300 tickets are also available to the luckiest players in the $4 and $20 WCOOP Spin & Go tournaments, among the other prizes, including entry tickets to the lower orbits of the WCOOP Main and other events.
$1,050 and $109 Main Event — Medium and Low Orbits
The two lower orbit Main Events are more affordable to enter directly than the World Championship, but there are still many satellites that will earn you an entry into those at a reduced price.
Mega Satellites for the M orbit Main Event are running multiple times a day, with buy-ins of $55 and $109 and anywhere between 1 and 10 guaranteed tickets.
On September 25, several giant Deadline Satellites will take place, awarding dozens of seats each:
- 16:15: $109 Buy-In — 50 Seats Guaranteed
- 17:15: $55 Buy-In — 80 Seats Guaranteed
- 18:30: $109 Buy-In — 100 Seats Guaranteed
- 19:30: $215 Buy-In — 15 Seats Guaranteed
- Deposit $20 and get $30 worth of free play
- One of the best mobile apps
- Biggest MTT guarantees
Along with these, many other regular satellites will be available each day until the start of the event, and on September 26, when late entry tickets will be up for grabs.
Regarding the $109 L Main Event, $5.50, $11, and $22 satellites are available in many time slots each day, awarding hundreds of guaranteed tickets before the start of the tournament.
Players will also have a chance to win $109 and $1,050 Main Event tickets in the $0.50, $4, and $20 WCOOP Spin & Go events, along with cash prizes and other tournament tickets that can be used to enter any PokerStars real money tournaments.
With a variety of satellite tournaments, this year’s WCOOP Main Events are guaranteed to feature huge players pools. They will probably break their guarantees by the time registration ends on September 26.
There is still plenty of time to win your WCOOP Main Event seats, so load up the PokerStars lobby and browse through the extensive list of satellite events for your Main Event of choice. New players can also take advantage of the PokerStars Bonus Code to boost their bankroll before joining in the action.
