888poker is looking to send some players to the Czech Republic for a pre-Christmas celebration this year with the Lucky 8’s poker festival at Kings Casino, Rozvadov. The nine-day poker series gets going on Dec 12 with the LUCKY 8s Opener and concludes on the 19th with the final day of the Main Event.

The affordable buy-ins will not impact the guarantees, though—the Main Event promises great value with €500,000 guaranteed for the bargain price of €288. Players will have eight shots to bag a Day 1 stack before Day 2 of the Main Event kicks off at 16:30 on Dec 18, with the final chance coming on the morning of the 18th.

Besides poker, Christmas in Europe is a joyous time, and Rozvadov is perfectly situated for day trips to Prague (~2 hours’ drive) or Nuremberg (~1.5 hours’ drive).
