Bet365 Poker has become the latest online poker room to add the variance-reducing feature under the name All-In Cash Out. It comes just days after Bet 365 deployed the Run It Twice (RIT) feature.
The now-ubiquitous feature, which allows players to insure their hand against bad beats in cash games, was added earlier this month, exclusively on Bet365, iPoker’s top-tier skin. It becomes the fifth major online poker room — after PokerStars, Americas Cardroom, partypoker, and GGPoker — to add such a feature.
The insurance feature — often called Equity Cashout or All-In Insurance — avoids variance by letting them purchase the value of their hand based on the odds of winning the pot. It works similarly to competitors’ products when at least two players are left in the hand, and are all-in with the River card still to be drawn.
However, unlike other rooms, where players can use this feature with any equity, at Bet365, players must be a favorite of 35% or more.
