Fall is ending in a few weeks, and PokerStars US celebrated the season with its Fall Fest series in all three markets. With almost $2 million guaranteed across Michigan, Pennsylvania, and New Jersey, the series cracked those promises in all three states, ending up with more than $2.3 million in combined prize pools.
Fall Fest ran for the final two weeks of November across PokerStars MI, PokerStars NJ, & PokerStars PA, with series guarantees reflecting each state’s market size.
As the biggest market for PokerStars US, the Pennsylvania series was the most generous of the three, with exactly $1 million in guarantees. That market also had the best results from the three states, going more than 25% above the guaranteed value for the series, but all three states were more than 10% above the initial promise.

State-by-State Breakdown
Overall, the prizes across all three jurisdictions came to $2,338,709.50, which is about 22% above the combined guarantees. That came from over 37.5k entries, with the entries in PA nearly hitting 18k.
Pennsylvania Leads the Way
It was little surprise to see Pennsylvania leading the way in total prizes and entries. PA is the largest US market for PokerStars, and even before the games started, it was always going to post the biggest numbers because of the $1 million in guarantees.
Pennsylvania was also the best performer across the three states, with the most substantial increase in the guarantee. There was more than $250k extra in prizes on PokerStars PA for an increase of 25.43% on the seven-figure guarantee. Only three events missed their guarantees in PA.

Michigan in the Middle
The Michigan series had a bit of a twist as it was billed as the 50/50 Fall Fest, with 50 tournaments costing $50 each. There were $507,000 in guarantees for the PokerStars MI series, but over 12.5k entries capped that promise by more than $110k. That was good for an increase of 22%, with seven games missing their guarantees.

Garden State Still Good in Third
While New Jersey was the worst performer of the three jurisdictions, it was still successful. There were eight missed guarantees on PokerStars NJ, but the operator still managed to log more than 7000 entries for more than $50k over the guarantee of $412,500. That was good for about a 13% increase on the original guarantee, with $466,347 in total prizes.
