Key Takeaways
  • Unibet’s loyalty program to offer personalized challenges and increased rakeback.
  • The update benefits break-even and losing players, inspired by PokerStars’ program.
  • The new system offers up to 65% in rakeback to the highest volume players.
  • Unibet’s online poker room has introduced bi-weekly playthrough bonuses to its core loyalty system.

Kindred Group’s online poker room Unibet is planning another overhaul to its loyalty program, PRO can reveal.

The refresh, scheduled to go into effect on April 1, now offers players a chance to earn up to 65% in rakeback to its highest volume players, an increase on the existing 50%. There are also tweaks to the rake tiers and Bonus Points multipliers.

However, the biggest change is that the operator is now adopting the philosophy of rewarding less to winning players, and more to the losing and break-even players, with personalized challenges offered on top of the fixed rakeback.

“[W]e’re moving a little bit closer to the main competitors,” as per a statement made by a Unibet Poker representative, “in the sense that everyone won’t be treated the exact same: if you’re about breakeven, you’ll get more than someone who’s crushing.”
