Online poker giant GGPoker has deployed play-money tables onto its global dot-com client, allowing players to play games with each other with fictional chips.
It joins PokerStars, the iPoker network, and Winamax as an online poker platform to actively offer play money tables.
As the name indicates, the play money chips have no monetary value and cannot be exchanged for real money or otherwise withdrawn. It simply offers players a way to practice their poker skills without any risk of losing money at the tables.
After the operator performed its monthly server maintenance, the play money tables were rolled out to the GGPoker platform on March 31. The operator confirmed to PRO that it is available to all players where GGPoker has a presence and is unavailable in the US.
