The leading online poker room has taken its innovation to the next level as it now adds in-game functionality allowing players to place Prop Bets on its platform. It also allows communicating with other players via Voice Messages in the table chat.
For those unfamiliar with the concept, Proposition Betting — usually shortened to Prop Bets — is a type of side wager made between players that may have nothing to do with the game itself nor affect the game’s outcome. In sports betting, a prop bet could be made on which player will score first, the winning team’s Gatorade color, or the outcome of the coin toss. In poker, these bets could be on who will last longest, which cards will make up the flop, or even unusual bets tasking challenging physical tasks.
Currently, the prop bets on GGPoker come in the singular form of the Last Longer bet (also known as Last One Standing). In this bet, a group of two or more players competes against each other to see who can last the longest in a tournament.
