Partypoker has rolled out a new version of its lottery-style sit-and-go game, known as SPINS Overdrive, on its global dot-com platform.
PRO first exclusively revealed that partypoker was revamping its lottery sit-and-go game back in July. This revelation came to light after the operator accidentally disclosed details of the forthcoming product on its website. Shortly after PRO’s publication, the webpage was promptly taken down, leaving the launch timeline for this new game shrouded in uncertainty.
On August 30, one month after the product was accidentally leaked, SPINS Overdrive finally made its debut, replacing the traditional SPINS format.
PRO initially anticipated that SPINS Overdrive would replace the faster version called SPINS Ultra. However, it turns out that both SPINS Ultra and the new SPINS Overdrive now have dedicated tabs within the main lobby, allowing players to choose between the two formats.
As previously reported, SPINS Overdrive brings several key changes to the format, including tweaks to multipliers, payout structures, blind levels, and starting chip stacks. Additionally, there’s a hint of a potential new side insurance feature, though its live status remains unclear.
