The final quarter of 2023 is now looming, and with it comes the beginning of autumn. To celebrate the changing seasons, 888poker is throwing a big fall poker party with over $2 million guaranteed across 34 numbered events and more than 70 side events starting in the dying days of summer and running through into the beginning of autumn.
The XL Autumn Series marks the return of 888poker’s XL Series brand with the first Autumn edition since 2021, and there is more than $2.2 million to be won across more than 100 numbered and side events this year.
As usual, the jewel in the XL Autumn crown will be the Main Event, with half a million guaranteed and more starting days than you can shake a stick at.
For $250, players in the $500,000 XL Autumn #34 – Mystery Bounty Main Event can take a shot at the biggest value game of the series in any of more than 20 Day 1 flights across the schedule. Main Event flights begin on September 27 and run through October 2, with the final two days dominated by turbo and hyper-turbo days.
The other big multi-day event on the schedule this time around is XL Autumn #20 – Mystery Bounty. For $165, players will get a shot at $200k in guaranteed prizes. That game also represents the second-best value across the whole series, as measured by dollars guaranteed per dollar of buy-in.
The Main comes in with a value of $2000 $Gtd/$BI, while Event #20 pays out at least $1234.57 $Gtd/$BI for cashing players.

Four Games with More than $1k Value
The two biggest games on the schedule, by most measures including value, are the two multi-day events mentioned above, but they are not the only high-value events on offer over the next couple of weeks. Two other games, XL Autumn #30 and XL Autumn #02, both offer a value of over $1000 $Gtd/$BI, while the fifth-best value just missed that mark,

For the smaller bankrolls out there, it is worth adding that the lowest buy-in game of the whole series, the $5.50 XL Autumn #15, has $5k guaranteed. That means it is actually tied for fifth place on the value list with a value of $909.09 $Gtd/$BI, serving up some of the best value of the series to the low-stakes field.
In total, there are three games that have six-figure guarantees in this series. Joining the two massive multi-day games in the six-figure club is the $120k guaranteed XL Autumn 02 on the opening day, with the $109 price tag putting this game into the high-value club as well.
After the three games in the $100k club, six games guaranteeing $35k with various buy-ins. There are three more games at $25k and a further three with $20k guaranteed.
XL Autumn Among the Biggest XL Series
While the 2022 XL Winter Series set the record for recent XL Series guarantees with $2.5 million, the upcoming fall series is in for second-best. The XL Spring Series earlier this year roughly tied the coming games, while XL Autumn 2021 also came in around $2 million for the series.
Those four events stand above the rest as the only series with $2 million or more guaranteed, so this year’s fall edition is in good company at the top of the heap.
