Partypoker has bid farewell to SPINS Ultra, the accelerated version of their popular lottery-style sit-and-go (LSNG) game. The game was shelved on Wednesday, October 4, 2023, PRO understands.
This move comes just a few weeks after the operator introduced SPINS Overdrive, which revitalized their LSNG product with a host of improvements, including giving it a new racing-themed interface in line with the operator’s McLaren Racing partnership.
When SPINS Overdrive was launched, it assumed the mantle of the primary lottery sit-and-go option, replacing the classic SPINS format. It was anticipated that Ultra would be replaced. However, the faster version continued to coexist with SPINS Overdrive — with both formats having their own dedicated tabs, allowing players to choose between the two formats.
The operator had hinted at its possible removal in the future, and on Tuesday, this speculation became a reality.
