The 2023 season of the European Poker Tour by PokerStars is almost over, with only the Prague event in December still on the cards. However, players will not have to wait long for the start of the new season: the operator has unveiled the full 2024 EPT schedule, announcing the first event in the new year will take place in February.
The new EPT season, the 18th in a row, will seek to replicate the success of this year’s series, visiting some of the usual stops and coming back to two locations that saw its inaugural EPT events in 2023 — Paris and Cyprus.
While the schedule did not change much in relation to 2023, PokerStars has announced plans for some significant improvements for the next year. For example, the Paris event will move to the Le Palais des Congrès, a more spacious venue able to fit in more tables and welcome more players.

Hot EPT Action All Year Around
The 2024 PokerStars LIVE EPT experience will kick off in February with the Paris event. Although the French capital hosted its very first EPT this year, the organizers have big hopes for the City of Light, which could become one of the largest stops on the schedule.
After Paris, the action will move to Monte Carlo in April, continuing the tradition that has been happening since 2005 (with the exception of 2020, when most PokerStars LIVE events were canceled).
In August, Barcelona will take on the role of the host city once again. The Spanish city has been the player’s favorite location for over 20 years, and EPT Barcelona regularly breaks attendance records, so there is no reason to think 2024 will be any different. If anything, with various promotions in store to celebrate the 20th anniversary, we could see another record or two broken come August.
Cyprus proved very popular with players in 2023, so PokerStars will be coming back to the Mediterranean island in 2024. The second-ever EPT Cyprus will take place in October, and players can look forward to the all-inclusive experience that marked the inaugural event.
Finally, the 2024 European Poker Tour will wrap up with the Prague event in the first half of December. The Czech capital has been another fan-favorite stop on the tour, regularly rounding things up in style.

EPT Qualifiers Already Running Online
One of the reasons the EPT has been growing in popularity is that players can win their seats online. The PokerStars app runs regular satellites for all its live events, and with the introduction of PokerStars Power Path, players were given even more opportunities to qualify for different live tournaments.
Satellites for the first 2024 EPT stop in Paris are already live in the client, and the operator will be rolling out qualifiers for other events as they get closer. You can also use your Power Path Silver Pass and Gold Pass to buy packages to different stops and get involved with some of the best and biggest poker tournaments to take place on European soil.
If you do not have a PokerStars account as of yet, you can sign up for free today, grab a 100% first deposit bonus up to $600, and get a head start on your 2024 European Poker Tour adventure. We have seen a fair number of online qualifiers walk away with big wins over the years, and who is to say that one of the trophies for the next season does not have your name on it?
