To help get into the festive spirit, PokerStars is bringing back its popular 25 Days of Tournaments promotion in North American markets.
Scheduled to run from December 5 to 29, the campaign promises a surprise tournament, not part of the daily tournament schedule, each night at 21:00 ET. The nature of these tournaments remains shrouded in secrecy until 21:00 the evening before, creating an advent calendar-like suspense.
Open to PokerStars North American customers in New Jersey (PokerStars NJ), Michigan (PokerStars MI), Pennsylvania (PokerStars PA), and Ontario, Canada (PokerStars Ontario), the campaign offers two buy-in levels: $10 and $50, catering to players with varying bankrolls. Players can take part in both tournaments, of course.

25 Days of Tournaments Overview:
- Runs from Dec 5 to 29
- Available to New Jersey, Michigan, Pennsylvania and Ontario players
- Surprise tournament revealed a night before
- Two buy-in levels: $10 and $50
- Runs every night at 9 pm ET
- Daily and weekly freerolls accompany the campaign
The first night’s tournaments have already been deployed in the lobby, but PokerStars maintains secrecy until 21:00 on December 4.
But there’s more. These mystery events will be complemented by side events, featuring Half-Price Sunday on December 10 and High Roller Sunday on the following Sunday, December 17.
In the Half-Price promotion, the operator will arrange the usual Sunday major tournaments, akin to their weekly schedule, but with a 50% reduction in buy-ins while retaining the same guarantees.
Beyond the daily surprise games, 25 Days of Tournaments event participants also stand a chance to win extra prizes. These prizes include opportunities to win sporting event tickets, exclusive merchandise items from PokerStars North America Team Pros, and thousands in bonus tickets.
Moreover, the operator will accompany these daily events with daily and weekly freerolls across all four markets. Players can compete for a share of $1000 in prizes. Additionally, the promotion introduces daily chests unlocked via challenges.
Final Promo of the Year
Coming back to 25 Days of Tournaments, it will be interesting to see what kind of tournaments will run, but rest assured they will promise enjoyable experiences not to be missed. The previous promotion, two years ago, featured a diverse range of tournaments, including Progressive Knockouts (PKOs), 3-handed Zoom, heads-up, Total Knockouts (where the entire buy-in goes to the bounty pool), Pot-Limit Omaha variants, and more.
There’s also speculation about the potential debut of the much-awaited Mystery Bounty Poker, set to launch on PokerStars very soon.
The 25 Days of Tournaments marks PokerStars’ final major promotion of the year, following closely after the successful Fall Fest series. The Main Event on PokerStars’ shared liquidity network, covering New Jersey and Michigan, exceeded expectations with 824 entries, comfortably surpassing its $200k guarantee by an additional $30.7k.
Meanwhile, with a $175,000 guarantee and a $300 buy-in, the Pennsylvania leg fell slightly short, creating a $5,000 overlay with 607 entrants.
PokerStars will aim for a prosperous year-end. The 25 Days of Tournaments take place from December 5 to 29.
