Ho-Ho-Holiday Sale
With the season of giving fully upon us and the rush of holiday madness consuming us, many people often forget to take time out and give back to themselves. 888poker wants to help slow the season down a bit with cut-rate deals on some me-time at the online poker tables.
From Dec 17 through Dec 30, with a day off for Christmas Day, players on 888poker will be able to enjoy half-price buy-ins on selected games. The guarantees are all staying the same, but with half the cost to get into the tournaments, the value has shot through the snow-covered roof.
There is more than $400k guaranteed in the cut-rate games running through the end of 2023, with $100k of that guaranteed in the Holiday Sale Mystery Bounty Main Event.
At the regular buy-in of $109, the game was pretty juicy already but during the sale, the value jumped to more than $1,800 as measured by the dollars guaranteed per dollar of buy-in ($GTD/$BI).
That game tops the value list, but one other game, the $30,000 Holiday Sale Mystery Bounty 55 with the cut-rate buy-in of $27.50, also booked a four-digit value. There are an additional ten games throughout the promotional period that book value of more than $500 $GTD/$BI.

Most of the biggest guarantees were at the beginning of the sale, but there is still lots of value left in the season. There are 12 tournaments left on the schedule with guarantees of $10k or more and some of the highest-value games are still yet to run.
Among the upcoming highlights are $15k guaranteed games on the 21st, 26th, and 28th of the month for players to sink their teeth into with some $12k and $10k guaranteed games sprinkled in and a further 12 games with guarantees of $8k or $6k.
Most of the guarantees under $10k cost just $11 to get into during the Holiday Sale, putting them high up the value list, despite the lower guarantees.
