In a grand gesture to celebrate the holiday season, GGPoker has announced the “2023 Winter Giveaway,” featuring a wide range of festive promotions that promise to give away $23 million in total prize money.
The promotion started last week and spans a month until January 15. It features a $15 million “12 Days of Christmas” promo, a year-end $1 million flipout, “12 Days of Resolution” missions with $2.024 million in prize money, a Winter Giveaway Series with $50 million guarantees and an added bonus of $4 million, along with a $1 million Happy New Year Freeroll.
With $23 million set to be dished out over a period of a month, it is thought to be the biggest giveaway in recent online poker history.

Here’s what players on GGPoker can expect as a share of the extra presents this holiday season.
12 Days of Christmas ($15M giveaway, Dec 15 – 26)
Starting off the festivities is the aptly named 12 Days of Christmas Gift Box which kicked off on December 15 and extends through December 26. The mechanics are straightforward: Players simply need to log in to GGPoker each day to receive a gift box containing randomized prizes.
Prizes include daily freerolls (featuring $100k freerolls every day from December 16 to 27) for Christmas tournaments, All-In-Or-Fold Sit & Go Tickets, Battle Royale Tickets, Spin & Gold Tickets, and C$, which can be used to play cash games.
However, there are a couple of caveats to note. Tickets won are valid for only 24 hours, and each player can claim only one gift box per day.
Over these twelve days, an astounding $15 million will be distributed. The promotion concludes either when all the rewards, totaling $15 million, are allocated among the players or on December 26th, 2023, whichever comes first.
Winter Giveaway Series ($50M Gtd with $5M in Add-Ons, Dec 15 — Jan 15)
Next in the lineup is a huge $50 million guaranteed tournament series called Winter Giveaway Series. The tournament festival kicked off on December 15 and extends over a month, featuring hundreds of tournaments themed around Christmas and New Year.
The series introduces several standout events, including the $125 Christmas Day Mystery Bounty with $1 million in guarantees, the Global MILLION$ New Year Bounty Bash with a $50 buy-in and $1 million in guarantees, Omaholic MILLION$ for fans of the four-card variant, boasting $250,000 in prize money for a $54 buy-in, and the Series Grand Finale concluding on January 15. The Grand Finale boasts $2,024,000 in guarantees with a $250 entry fee.
Complementing the series is a $5 million giveaway, featuring a $1 million Happy New Year and $4 million in bonus guarantees for tournaments. The $1 million freeroll — which is GGPoker’s biggest ever freeroll — is scheduled from December 20 to New Year’s Day, January 1, 2024. This event is open to all players without restrictions, with players limited to one Happy New Year Freeroll event daily.

EndOfYear #Thanks2023 ($1 Million Flipout, December 27 — 31)
GGPoker is wrapping up the year with a touch of elegance through the EndOfYear #Thanks2023 $1 million flipout tournament, scheduled to take place from December 27 to 31 as a multi-day event.
This unique event is designed to replace the customary Daily GGCare and GGCheers tournaments. These tournaments are basically a lottery — functioning automatically without the need for player presence. In these tournaments, players are forced all-in every hand until the tournament concludes.
The tournament will take place in three stages:
- Stage 1: Taking place every two hours over five days, survivors progress to the Daily Day 2.
- Stage 2: Stage 2 rounds occur once per day from December 28 to December 31. Everyone making it through Stage 2 is guaranteed to be “In The Money!”
- Stage 3: Winners from Day 2 move on to the grand finale on New Year’s Eve, a broadcast event featuring GGPoker ambassador Bertrand “ElkY” Grospelier. A total of 25,000 winners will emerge from the $1 million flipout.
Qualifications for this Flipout tournament will resemble those of GGCare and GGCheers, although the tournament will offer an even better chance to qualify.
12 Days of Resolution ($2.024 million in giveaway, January 1 — 12)
Concluding the Winter Giveaway promotion is the 12 Days of Resolution, spanning the New Year from January 1 to 12, and offering a generous $2.024 million in prize money through a mission competition.
Tailored to suit players of all preferences, the missions are categorized by game type and stakes, ensuring every player has an equal opportunity to claim their share of the prizes.
Each day, players will be assigned missions, and upon successful completion, they will earn stamps and flipout chips to participate in flipouts. The more missions players complete, the bigger the Flipout prizes will be. The flipouts are scheduled for January 13, 2024, occurring every hour from 02:00 UTC to 11:00 UTC, with prizes ranging from $100,000 to $400,000.
