A while back, PokerStars announced the dates for the upcoming SCOOP series for its North American platforms (NASCOOP) for April 5-22, 18 days of exciting online tournament action.
Now, the operator has released the full schedule for each of the markets, with players on PokerStars Pennsylvania and PokerStars Ontario playing in separate player pools, while those on PokerStars Michigan and PokerStars New Jersey compete for the SCOOP titles in a joint pool, courtesy of MSIGA.
Whichever of these regions you live in, April is about to be a huge month for online poker, as this year’s SCOOP will feature at least six separate events each day, and each of these will feature three separate versions; Low, Medium, and High.
For players in the regulated North American markets, SCOOP will be the most exciting online tournament series this spring, and perhaps the last opportunity to grind some online poker before heading out to Vegas for the upcoming World Series of Poker.

Win Your SCOOP Tickets for Just $0.25
This year’s SCOOP will feature a wide range of poker events with buyins ranging from just $5 all the way up to $1,000. While some of these events are easily affordable for most poker players, others come at a slightly steeper price that you may want to get some help with.
Fortunately, PokerStars US offers the perfect way to get into the more attractive SCOOP events without having to pay the full buyin via the Path to SCOOP promotion.
Path to SCOOP is a limited-time version of the PokerStars Power Path promotion, which offers players a chance to turn a $0.25 investment into a $100 SCOOP ticket.
The promotion comes in three steps, as follows:
- Step 1: $0.25 Sit & Go (on demand)
- Step 2: $0.75 16-Man Shootout
- Step 3: $10 MTT (on demand)
Each step takes you to the next one, until you reach Step 3 where at least one $100 SCOOP ticket is awarded every time.
The best part of it all is that PokerStars will award you with a free $0.25 Step 1 ticket every day simply for playing a single hand of real money poker of any format.
So, all you need to do is log into your account, play a single hand of poker, and you will receive a $0.25 Step 1 ticket that could be your path to play in some of the best events in this year’s SCOOP.

As is usually the case with PokerStars Series, SCOOP in MI/NJ will feature dozens of tournaments across three buyin orbits, and covering many different gameplay formats.
The SCOOP Main Event on April 21 will present the main highlight of the series, with $50, $300, and $2,500 buyins bringing $60k, $300k, and $100k guaranteed prize pools respectively.

2024 PASCOOP Highlights
Over in Pennsylvania, a player pool made up of local PA players alone will play for their share of $2,250,000 in SCOOP prizes come April.
The April 21 SCOOP Main Event for PA players will feature three versions, much like the one in MI and NJ, with the $50, $500, and $2,500 buyins associated with $40k, $225k, and $150k prize pools.
Events like the $200 KO Special Championship with $100k in prize money, $250 Super Tuesday Championship with a $45k guaranteed prize pool, and the $100 Phase Championship with a $100k guarantee will be among the many other notable events.
Mixed games fans will have a rare opportunity to enjoy playing their favorite poker disciplines as well, ranging from Badugi and 2-7 Triple Draw to HORSE and 8-Game event across different buyins.

2024 ONSCOOP Highlights
Canadian players over in Ontario will also get to enjoy SCOOP on the same dates, with just over $1,750,000 in USD up for grabs across the dozens of events on the schedule.
This year’s ONSCOOP will feature a Main Event in three buyin brackets, $50 with a $45k guarantee, $300 with a $200k guarantee, and $2,500 with a $150k guarantee, all played on Sunday, April 21.
Like in other markets, the series will open with an 8-Game Championship, whose High version will feature a $200 buyin and a $12.5k guaranteed prize pool to kick things off.
In terms of Texas Hold’em events, the $100 Kickoff Championship will be the most alluring event early in the series, featuring a massive $35k guarantee.
There will be plenty of entertaining events to play every single day of the festival, but the $100 Sunday Special Championship with $85k in prize money, $200 Royale Championship with a $40k prize pool, and $200 KO Special Championship with $100k guaranteed will be among the player favorites.
