What Is Go for Gold?

Launched on June 28, the Go for Gold promotion will be running until July 31 and awarding cash prizes to players who accumulate five promotional stamps at a given buyin level in a single day.

The stamps are earned by playing Spin & Gold games and landing different prize multipliers within a 24-hour period at either 3-max or 6-max Spin & Gold tournaments.

You can earn the following stamps at 3-max games:

  • 2x
  • 3x
  • 4x
  • 5x
  • 10x

You can earn the following stamps at 6-max games:

  • 4x
  • 6x
  • 8x
  • 10x
  • 12x

The stamps can be mixed between the two formats. Earning a 2x stamp in a 3-max game will be equivalent to earning a 4x stamp in a 6-max game, while earning a 3x stamp in a 3-max game will be equivalent to earning a 6x stamp in a 6-max game, etc.

So, as long as you can earn five different stamps within a given day at any buyin level, you will be awarded a single Gold Box with a cash prize inside it.

You can then open your box and reveal its content or leave it in your account to be automatically opened at the end of the promotional period.

Once you have collected your award and 24 hours have passed since you earned the first stamp used to receive your Gold Box, you will be able to start collecting again for a chance at another Gold Box.

You will not be able to accumulate stamps for future use during a single round of play, nor will you have a chance to earn stamps towards multiple Gold Boxes at the same time.

What Can I Win?

The Go for Gold promotion at GGPoker is giving away a cool $1,000,000 over a period of just over 30 days, with cash prizes awarded to all the winners.

If you win a Gold Box, the range of prizes you will have a chance of landing will depend on the buyin level at which you earned your stamps.

The top prize you can earn from the promotion will be $10,000, which amounts to 1% of the overall prize pool, while various smaller prizes will also be up for grabs across all levels.

The promotion will end on July 31 but may also end earlier if there is more interest from players than expected and the million-dollar prize pool is given away before the given date.
