For many out there, the end of December and the start of the New Year represent the time to slow down and unwind. Some, however, continue to crave poker action, and BetMGM Poker is here to deliver on that craving for US and Ontario online poker players.

Knockout Series Action at BetMGM Poker Ontario
The Knockout Series at BetMGM Poker Ontario brings a schedule of 61 events in total, distributed into three buy-in orbits: low, medium, and high. Buy-ins start as low as CAD 1 and go up to CAD 265, so there is plenty of action for every bankroll.
In terms of guarantees, the largest one is attached to the $265 Main Event on Jan 20, where players will share at least CAD 30,000 in prize money. There are also a couple of Sunday Party events with same buy-ins on Jan 6 and 13, each featuring a guarantee of CAD 20,000.
For players with smaller bankrolls, the Low version of the Main Event (Jan 20) features a respectable guarantee of CAD 2,000, making this tournament well worth getting involved with.

BetMGM Poker US New Year’s KO Series
Pennsylvania online poker players on BetMGM Poker and in the shared Michigan / New Jersey pools can already get involved with some progressive bounty action. Buy-ins start at $25 and go up to $250, with most tournaments featuring the Cadillac of Poker, No Limit Texas Hold’em. There are also a few PLO events thrown into the mix for some added excitement.
In addition to buy-in tournaments, BetMGM Poker will also host freerolls for those participating in the series. These take place on Dec 31, with $10,000 up for grabs on the NJ/MI platform and $5,000 in the prize pool for BetMGM Poker PA. The number of entries for the freerolls is limited, so you should register and reserve your seat as soon as you receive a ticket.
The series-ending tournament, $250 buy-in Event #15, features the largest guarantee, with a prize pool of at least $50,000. There are also two more events in the same buy-in bracket and prize pools of $20,000+.
