To celebrate the 19th anniversary of its iconic Sunday Million event, the operator is launching the Sunday Million Season promo, lasting Feb 23 — Apr 8, featuring heaps of excitement and loads of valuable prizes.
Over the course of the promotions, players will have opportunities to win free Sunday Million tickets, get their hands on special trophies and exclusive merchandise, and much more.

The Ticket Machine Back in Action
The Sunday Million Season promo will officially kick off with the event on Feb 23. This is the first time the tournament is played in a phased format, with daily Phase 1s taking place on the site all the way up until Sunday.
From Feb 23 onwards, the Sunday Million Ticket Machine will be active, set to dispense $300,000 worth of anniversary event and satellite tickets over the course of the promotion. You’ll be in with a shot when you play in any Sunday Million Season “episode.”
To spice things up, PokerStars is also hosting a Sunday Million Season leaderboard set to award an additional $100,000 worth of Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) tickets.
You can earn leaderboard points by playing in Sunday Million Season tournaments, with double points awarded for key “episodes” taking place every Sunday. In addition to SM tournaments, double points will also be awarded for the following events:
- Mar 2 – $55 Red Spade Open ($500k GTD)
- Mar 9 — All three Super Sunday events
- March 23 – $11 Sunday Storm 14th Anniversary ($350k GTD)
To wrap things up, the $215 Sunday Million Anniversary event on Apr 8 will award triple leaderboard points, adding some extra value on top of the massive $6,000,000 guarantee.
On top of extra points, winners of all key events will receive special trophies, while all top finishers can look forward to exclusive hoodies.
The Tournament That Keeps on Giving
The Sunday Million has become a staple of online poker tournaments over its nearly two-decades-long tradition. To date, this event alone has awarded over $1.4 billion in prizes, creating some memorable stories along the way.
The 19th-anniversary event will continue this tradition, promising to award at least $6,000,000, but with so many promotions running around the tournament, it is safe to assume that guarantee will be shattered.
