In a recent press release from PokerStars the operator has revealed that it will be coming back to London this summer for another tournament series geared towards women in poker.
Dubbed the Women’s Summer Festival, the event will take place Aug 12 — 17, 2025, at the Clermont, Charing Cross, featuring a rich tournament schedule, with the focus on the £100,000-guaranteed Main Event.
The summer festival comes on the heels of the Winter Women’s Festival that took place back in November of last year at London’s Hippodrome Casino, reconfirming PokerStars’ dedication to creating a better and more inclusive environment for all fans of the game.

PokerStars Women’s Summer Festival Details
The full schedule for the August series is still in the works, but PokerStars has revealed some of the most important details for the Women’s Summer Festival.
Official dates are Aug 12 — 17, with all action taking place at the Clermont, Charing Cross, in London. The Main Event will take place Aug 14 — 17, boasting a handsome guarantee of £100,000.
The festival schedule will also include a one-day £1,100 High Roller, set for Aug 13, as well as a popular 50/50 event taking place on Aug 16. The latter features an interesting format, where female players must pair up with male players to enter the competition.
PokerStars Ambassador Kerryjane Craigie, who played a crucial role in organizing the winter event, shared her excitement about the announcement, stating:
“I’m delighted to see the Women’s Festival returning to London. The first event was so much fun, and this event will be full of women returning for more poker, as well as welcoming new faces discovering a whole new world of live poker.”
As always, PokerStars will be hosting a variety of online satellites, giving ladies across the globe opportunities to qualify for the Women’s Summer Festival and securing their seats well before cards get in the air. Additionally, there will be a host of satellites happening at the venue as well.
Continuing the Mission to Bring More Women to the Felt
In a recent period, we’ve seen serious efforts from PokerStars aimed at getting the existing female poker players more involved and enticing new ones to give live tournaments a chance.
In addition to last year’s Women’s Festival and the series announced for August, the operator has also made impactful changes to its 2025 NAPT schedule. The guarantee for the Women’s Event has been boosted to $50,000 (previously $30,000), and a $1,100 Women’s High Roller tournament has been added to the docket as well.
These continued efforts should help make the live tournament circuit more attractive to women worldwide, especially to those who don’t have any live experience. Women-only events and festivals make it much easier for these players to take the leap and join the action.
