Earlier today, officials for the WSOP announced the dates for the 46th Annual World Series of Poker and well as pinpointing the dates of a number of anticipated tournaments on the 2015 schedule.
The WSOP returns on Wednesday May 27 and extends through to the establishing of the 2015 November 9 set to take place on July 14. In additional to unveiling the dates and a few “must-play” highlights, the WSOP will feature the inaugural running of “The Colossus” – a $565 buy-in bracelet event with a $5,000,000 guarantee. Slated to run the opening weekend of the WSOP (Friday May 29/Saturday May 30), “The Colossus” features two starting flights (with a re-entry format) and a starting stack of 5,000 in chips. According to the WSOP, the new event is the lowest open buy-in bracelet event in 35 years.
Here are a few of the other announced dates for you to check out:

One million guaranteed for first place for a $1500 buy-in, but this year players will get a stack increase to 7500 starting chips. Officials moved the starting day to allow the women to play both this event as well as one of the open events slated to start at a nearby time.
Sunday June 28 – One Drop High Roller – The railbirds will be excited to see that all the Super High Rollers will be plunking down $111,111 to help benefit the clean water efforts of Guy Laliberte's One Drop.
TuesdayJune 30 – Little One for One Drop – The Little One for One Drop gives everyone a chance to be charitable as well.
