The annual series, taking place September 8-29, is guaranteeing a $40 million prize pool spread over 66 events. The schedule features buy-ins ranging from $109 up to the 3 High Roller events of $10,300, with 14 of the tournaments guaranteeing $1M or more.
The WCOOP Main Event this year is a $5200 buy-in 2-day tournament, taking place on September 29-30, with $1.25m guaranteed to first place and a whopping $8M total prize pool-an increase of $3M on last year. PokerStars is again running their “Player of The Series” competition, where consistent results will net the top performer a number of prize packages, including entries into the PCA, the Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP), the WCOOP Main Event and more. Prizes will also be awarded for everyone else who finishes in the top 10. In addition to “Player Of The Series,” PokerStars is recognizing the “Woman of the Series” with prizes to include a PCA package.
