The Merge Network skin FeltStars closed without explanation this week, just a few days after another Merge skin shut down.
Like with the closing of Bluff Room last week, players were advised to create an account on another Merge skin in order to transfer their balances.
“FeltStars has operated as a partner of the Merge Gaming Network whom is licensed by the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, so rest assured that the Merge Gaming Network has processed and holds all player funds,” an announcement on FeltStars.eu stated. “Your balance is securely held by Merge Gaming and they will assist in transferring your funds to another partner.”
Players are being directed to the Merge customer-service center, at support@mergegaming.eu, and some on 2+2 have reported that they already successfully shifted the money to a different skin. However, VIP points and tournament tickets will not be transferred according to a high volume player familiar with Merge policies.
The FeltStars departure marks the latest in a series of hang-ups with Merge, one of the few networks that still accepts US players. Earlier this year, Lock Poker left Merge after purchasing the Cake Network and rebranding it as the Revolution Gaming.
Last month, the Merge CEO Anthony Tailor resigned after more than five years as the head of the company.
