World Series of Poker Main Event final table chip leader J.C. Tran has signed on to be the newest Team Pro for online poker site 888poker.
Vietnamese-born Tran will be representing 888 exclusively, and not just at the WSOP Main Event, but also at future WPT events, online events and the WSOPE, to be held in Paris this October.
“I am extremely excited to work with 888poker and looking forward to a great experience. I can’t wait to represent 888poker at my best and help in any way possible,” he is quoted as saying in the press release issued Sunday.

Tran, a two-time WSOP bracelet winner, World Poker Tour Champion and World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) Main Event Winner, already has over $9M in worldwide tournament earnings as he vies to take down the over $8M first place prize money at the WSOP Main Event when the November 9 returns on Monday, November 4.
The signing of Tran is another in a series of announcements and releases to come out of the 888poker camp. They recently updated their mobile app to include MTTs and have moved into public beta for their new Mac client as they prepare to re-enter the US market through their partnerships with Caesars, Treasure Island and on their “All American Poker Network”.
