PartyPoker announced on Thursday that it would be holding another month of rake-free multi-table tournaments. Throughout January 2012, no fees will be collected on any scheduled tournaments, across all buy-ins and game-types.
PartyPoker ran the same promotion back in July. At the time it started no end-date had been set, but the promotion come to an end August. This time, the promotion will last just for the month of January.
The structure is expected to be the same as before: buyins for tournaments of $6 or less will increase to include the rake – so a $5+0.50 tournament is now $5.50 to enter with the entire amount repaid in the prize pool. Tournaments of a higher buyin are will simply have their rake removed.
