The PokerStars MicroMillion V tournament series ended on Sunday as Lithuanian player “stygher” won the $22 Main Event for $160k.
The eleven-day series attracted more than 1.3m entries for the 100 low buy-in events, which came with an advertized total guarantee of $5m in prizes. The record attendance propelled the prize fund well beyond the guarantee and stygher’s victory brought the total winnings paid out to $8.276m.
The Player of the Series Leaderboard title went to Russian player “JustProSkill,” who cashed in 30 events and made two final tables.
