How to Best Use 8x$25 Bonus Bets for Upcoming NFL Week 2 Matches
The new NFL season started with a big upset — the Detroit Lions beating the reigning champions, the Kansas City Chiefs. The major highlights of the first week were Aaron Rodgers’ injury after only four plays, the Dallas Cowboys’ dominant victory against the Giants, and the Cincinnati Bengals’ poor display against the Browns.
Here are our eight predictions and picks for Week 2 NFL matches which you can combine with eight $25 Bonus Bets from BetMGM’s welcome package:
1. Detroit Lions to Win -6.0 vs. Seattle Seahawks & Over 48.5 Points (+261)
Last Thursday, the Detroit Lions stunned the reigning NFL champions Kansas City Chiefs, conquering the Arrowhead Stadium with a narrow 21-20 victory.
The connection between the QB Jared Goff (253 passing yards, 1 TD, 22/35) and Amon-Ra St. Brown was looking great, so expectations are high from the upcoming Week 2 clash against the Seattle Seahawks, who lost the opening match at home to LA Rams 30-13.
2. Cincinnati Bengals to Win -3.5 & To Score in Every Quarter vs. Baltimore Ravens (+480)
Cincinnati’s offense struggled heavily in the season-opening match, which they lost convincingly to the Cleveland Browns. Joe Burrow had one of his worst appearances in the last few years, ending the duel with only 82 passing yards, zero touchdowns, and 14/31 completion.
In our opinion, the Bengals are one of the most serious candidates to go all the way this season, so we expect them to bounce back in style against the Ravens on Sunday.

3. Tampa Bay Buccaneers to Win -3.0 vs. Chicago Bears & Under 41.5 Points (+261)
Tampa Bay’s fans had a lot of reasons for doubt, but their new quarterback Baker Mayfield had a solid start to the new NFL campaign. He led the Bucs to a surprising 20-17 victory against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 1, ending the match with 173 passing yards, two touchdown passes, and no interceptions.
LB Devin White caused many problems for the Vikings’ offense, and the entire defensive line stopped Cousins and Co. We expect them to do something similar against the Bears.
4. Over 6.5 Touchdowns in Kansas City Chiefs vs. Jacksonville Jaguars (+160)
Patrick Mahomes was without his favorite target Travis Kelce in the first match against the Detroit Lions, ending the match with 226 passing yards and two touchdowns.
Kelce is still in the recovery process, but the latest reports indicate he should be ready for the upcoming clash against the Jaguars. Both sides have explosive offensive lineups, so a high-scoring affair is expected.
5. Buffalo Bills To Win -8.5 vs. Las Vegas Raiders & Under 47.5 Points (+261)
The brand-new season didn’t start that well for the Buffalo Bills and their main star QB Josh Allen. They were defeated by the New York Jets in overtime on Monday Night Football, with Allen having three interceptions, one touchdown, and 236 passing yards.
Bills were successful against the Raiders in their recent head-to-head duels, winning the last two 30-23 in 2020 and 34-14 in 2017. We are tipping Buffalo to return to winning ways.
6. Dallas Cowboys To Win Both Halves vs. New York Jets (+150)
New York Jets might have won the season-opening clash against Buffalo, but they lost the biggest summer signing, Aaron Rodgers, who will need some time to recover from an Achilles tendon rupture. Dallas Cowboys impressed the most of all teams in Week 1, crushing New York Giants 40-0.
Defender Dorance Armstrong was the key man, ending the match with two sacks and six pressures. Dak Prescott’s numbers were slightly underwhelming (72.0 rating), but that could easily change against the Jets on Sunday.
7. Under 39.0 Points in Washington Commanders at Denver Broncos (-110)
The most recent head-to-head encounter between the Broncos and Commanders in Colorado was won by Denver 17-10 in late 2021.
Washington demonstrated great form within their defensive ranks, allowing only 16 points to the Arizona Cardinals last weekend and 19 to the Cincinnati Bengals in the last pre-season clash. We cannot see many touchdowns being scored in the Centennial State.
8. Cleveland Browns to Win HT and FT vs. Pittsburgh Steelers (+150)
The Browns demolished a title challenger, the Cincinnati Bengals, in the first match, so their spirits are surely high ahead of a trip to Pennsylvania and a duel against Pittsburgh.
Running Back Nick Chubb had 106 rushing yards on 18 carries, showing that the offense can rely on him to get over the line when it’s needed the most. Steelers were downed by SF 49ers quite easily (30-7), not being able to defend Pickett, who got sacked five times.
