Iconic tours for 2025 return such as the European Poker Tour (EPT) and Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP). Regional tours such as the Eureka Poker Tour in Central and Eastern Europe, the France Poker Series (FPS), the UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT), and Estrellas in Spain now form part of the new PokerStars Open brand. The Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT) also returns with stops peppered throughout the year across Asia.

The North America Poker Tour is expected to return for 2025 but details have yet to be announced.

What is PokerStars Live?

PokerStars Live is the catchall term for PokerStars live events that take place across the globe. PokerStars runs events in the UK, Europe, Brazil, Asia and is back running live poker events in North America. Schedules have been released for the European Poker Tour (EPT), PokerStars Open, Brazilian Series of Poker (BSOP) and The Asia Pacific Poker Tour (APPT).

European Poker Tour (EPT) Stops

The European Poker Tour returns for 2025 with five stops. Unfortunately EPT Paris as the top of the year was cancelled due to regulatory issues in France. Other EPT stops take in Monte Carlo, Barcelona, Malta plus the fan-favorite stop Prague returns to see out the year in December.

PokerStars Open Stops

New for 2025 is the PokerStars Open. It features six stops, replacing smaller regional tours such as the Eureka Poker Tour in Central and Eastern Europe, the France Poker Series (FPS), the UK & Ireland Poker Tour (UKIPT), and Estrellas in Spain.

Under the new branding the PokerStars Open tour will take in stops in Ireland (Irish Open), Namur (Belgium), and Malaga (Spain). Three new stops are scheduled under the new brand for Campione (Italy), Manchester (UK), and Cannes (France).

At each stop there will be a €1,100/£1,100 Main Event with a €1M/£1M guaranteed prize pool, with of course side events also running.

There are also two PokerStars Open Main Events planned at two announced EPT festivals. One will be taking place at EPT Monte Carlo in April and another at EPT Barcelona in August.

Asia Pacific Poker Tour Stops

The Asia Pacific Poker Tour returns to the live poker schedule for 2025. There are three headline APPT tours taking place in Cambodia and the Philippines throughout the year. Smaller tournaments being held at PokerStars Live poker room at the five-star Okada Manila in the Philippines, that includes events such as Super Series and Manila Megastack.

Online players can qualify for APPT events via the Power Path online qualifier system in a variety of ways. Via PokerStars Power Path, players progress through four steps tiers to earn a Bronze, Silver, or Gold Pass. Silver Passes, which give winners $2,500 worth of buy-ins to use for regional live events or headline events such as the APPT.

How to Qualify via PokerStars Power Path

PokerStars Power Path offers rewards for the lowest stake players. The Power Path redemption system is geared towards those who want to get a taste of the live poker experience or play in one of the big online tournaments but do not have the bankroll to buy in the usual way.

Power Path is a four-step qualification method that starts with a $0.50 Spin & Go, leading to either a $1 buy-in On Demand Sit & Go or a $1.50 multi-table tournament (MTT), which is Step 2.

This advancement leads to Step 3, where players receive $11 in tickets. Successfully clearing Step 3 also grants them access to the final stage, Step 4.

Step 4 features a $109 tournament that distributes the coveted Power Passes across three tiers: Bronze, Silver, and Gold. While players can fast-track their progression by directly entering Step 2 or 3, players must secure their spot in Step 4 by winning in Step 3.

PokerStars Live League

New for 2025 PokerStars is launching PokerStars Live League that will run along side the EPT, PokerStars Open events and sponsored events such as the Irish Poker Open.

PokerStars Live League is a leaderboard race that will be awarding thousands of dollars in buy-ins. Perhaps the most exciting part is that there is a chance to become the newest PokerStars Ambassador: a contract worth €100,000. The top 10 finishers from each leader board will audition for the ambassadorship role, with one person winning the contract who will go on to represent PokerStars at live events for the next year.

There will be a points calculator built into the PokerStars Live app, making it easy for players to see how they are ranking.
