The market leaders DraftKings and FanDuel did slight growth year-over-year, but the real standout is newcomer PrizePicks. With revenue of $176k, it grew more than 17 times over the same month a year ago, when it reported just $10k.
Despite this, it had to settle for fourth place in the market because FFPC — thanks to the start of the NFL season — took in a sizeable chunk of its seasonal NFL entry fees in August. It reported $276.4k in revenue, an all-time high.
