After taking last week off, I have come back to find so much goodness in the Poker Podcast Directory. The selection of interesting audio content about poker is so vast; it’s hard to decide where to start listening first.
With the first episodes of The Lederer Files recently released, poker podcasters aren’t wasting any time breaking them down. Though at the time I am writing this the latest 2+2 PokerCast has yet to finish uploading, Mike and Adam have indicated that they will cover these videos extensively in their latest episode scheduled to be released later today. Having some very strong opinions on the videos myself, I am pretty interested in listening to the guys’ take on them.
Todd “Dan Druff” Witteles also examines the videos on the latest episode Poker Fraud Alert. On a side note, the Druff, Drex & Vwls Show is now the Druff & Drex show. Vwls had to leave the show for personal reasons. Given the recent rumblings in the poker podcast world, Druff may soon need to open the show with a little Eric Carmen. But fans of the show have no need to worry; Druff has already proven he is more than capable of carrying the show on his own.
For a look behind the scenes of The Lederer Files, check out the latest edition of the PokerNews Podcast. Donnie Peters talks about his experience on the set during the interview. Even though this podcast is produced by the same outlet that brought us the interview, I still think there is some value in a detailed account of the events of the interview from an observer’s perspective.
For those of you looking for non-Lederer interviews, Vic and Andy from 2GuysTalkingPoker talk to a couple of professional dealers that have dealt to Phil Helmuth and Will “The Thrill” Failla. Tony G talks with Chris and Rob on The Poker Show and Brett Richey headlines The Scotty Clark Poker Show.

Also, as we approach the Final table of the 2012 World Series Main Event, the October Nine continue making their media rounds and that includes poker podcasts. Michael Esposito is a guest this week on the Bernard Lee Poker Show. Check the descriptions of the shows in the archives of the directory to find more interviews with your favorite October Niners.

And for those of you that may have missed parts of the Ironman podcast to benefit the 22Q Foundation, the guys over at Filthy Limper Radio have released the first two hours of the show. They plan to release the entire 50+ hours of the marathon broadcast for download. All you have to do is make a donation of any size to the 22Q Foundation and you will be granted complete access to the archives.
